The members of Vsop Tamilyogi were a peculiar bunch, united by their quest for the sublime. There was Monsieur LaFleur, a retired sommelier with a penchant for 19th-century French literature; Sophia, a young and ambitious entrepreneur with a keen sense for business and an even keener sense for the finer things in life; and Jack, a historian, whose specialty was the era of Napoleon Bonaparte.
