The site’s maintainers transitioned aggressively to HTML5 ports and emulation where legal and feasible, converting or sourcing versions that could run natively in modern browsers. This technical work preserved a library of familiar games—platformers, puzzle classics, simple shooters—while also making the site more future-proof and mobile-friendly.
