The first season of "Star vs. the Forces of Evil" premiered on January 18, 2015, and consists of 13 episodes. The season introduces us to Star Butterfly (voiced by Eden Sher), a princess from the magical dimension of Mewni, who is sent to Earth as a foreign exchange student. She attends school in Los Angeles, where she befriends Marco Diaz (voiced by Adam McArthur), a human boy who becomes her closest friend.
