Released in 2013, "Snowpiercer" is a science fiction film directed by Bong Joon-ho, based on the 1982 graphic novel "Le Transperceneige" by Jacques Lob, Jean Giraud, and Casterman. The movie presents a dystopian future where an experiment to stop global warming has gone catastrophically wrong, freezing the entire planet.
