The story takes place 97 years after a nuclear catastrophe that forced the remnants of humanity to flee to a space station called the Ark. The resources on the Ark are dwindling, and the leaders send 100 juvenile delinquents, including the main character Clarke Griffin (Eliza Taylor), to Earth to see if it's habitable.
