Kingdom Hearts Final Mix, released in 2004, is an enhanced version of the original Kingdom Hearts game, developed by Square (now Square Enix). This updated edition, initially released only in Japan for the PlayStation 2, features new scenes, characters, and gameplay mechanics. One of the most notable additions is the integration of elements from the American version of the game, alongside several other tweaks and enhancements. However, one of the significant barriers to accessing this version of the game for fans worldwide, especially those not fluent in Japanese, has been the lack of an English translation. This gap was somewhat bridged with the development and release of an English patch for the Kingdom Hearts Final Mix ISO.
