The movie follows Bill Randa (Tom Hiddleston), a scientist who has been studying the mythical Skull Island. He assembles a team, including his friend and explorer, Hank Parsons (Samuel L. Jackson), and his girlfriend, Grace (Brie Larson). They embark on an expedition to the island, accompanied by a group of soldiers led by Captain Preston Packard (John Goodman).
