The story takes place 22 years after the events of the original Jurassic Park film. The theme park, Jurassic World, has been operational for several years and has become a popular tourist destination. However, a new genetically engineered hybrid dinosaur, the Indominus rex, escapes from its enclosure and wreaks havoc on the park. The park's operations manager, Claire Dearing (Bryce Dallas Howard), and a Velociraptor trainer, Owen Grady (Chris Pratt), team up to stop the Indominus and save the park's visitors.
