"Jurassic Park" is based on Michael Crichton's 1990 novel of the same name. The story takes place on a remote island, Isla Nublar, located off the coast of Costa Rica. The island is home to a theme park featuring cloned dinosaurs, created by a wealthy entrepreneur, John Hammond (Richard Attenborough). A group of scientists, lawyers, and Hammond's grandchildren are invited to the park for a preview before its official opening. However, things quickly go awry when a power outage allows the dinosaurs to escape, and the visitors must fight for survival.
